"I AM" instead of "I DID"

There is an hour until the last weigh in on Maple Valley Biggest Loser.

Here is what I was thinking:

Wake up go running for as long as I possibly can, drink no water, eat no food, go to the wc as much as I can until 11 am...... = nutso

Here is what I am doing instead: ate my fav yogurt, drank plenty of water, spent time reflecting on this journey, and am going for a nice happy run on my way to the weigh in..

BECAUSE "I AM" instead of "I DID"

Here is what has happened. I have permanantely changed how I think and what I do in the column in my brain called 'weight management'.

This is not 'JUST WHAT I DID' for 12 weeks. Its is now "WHO I AM" instead.

I feel different, and well, and whole, and ready for more...

  1. I lied. I totally ended up obsessing. MY SHOES WEIGHED 3 POUNDS !!!!! And totally messed up my weigh in because I forgot I wore them at the begging.....and thus had to wear them at the final.

  2. That was a LOT of weight for 12 weeks, Carson would be jealous he thought he was doing awesome at 2 lbs per week! Your attitude is inspiring and I'm glad you did healthy things on the morning of your weigh in, I met my son's friend's mom today and was shocked by how anorexic she was, what a world to bring up my daughter in!
